One highlight is the three-time “Mountain Restaurant of the Year” Eagle’s Eye Restaurant. They pulled out all of the stops when they built this place, and on a sunny day, it is the best place to eat lunch in Canada.
The town also offers a variety of ethnic menus, comfy little coffee shops, greasy spoon diners, and gourmet bistros. Golden residents are always up for a good night out on the town. There’s a couple of beer swilling pubs in town and one funky little lounge if you are looking for a more casual atmosphere. Golden bars and nightclubs have this crazy way of mixing rave themes and good ol' redneck beer drinking; it's hard not to have fun in Golden.
